WordPress My Twitpics plugin
Ik gebruik al enkele jaren wordpress, maar tot dusver is het er nooit van gekomen om een eigen plugin te maken. Ik ben er vandaag eens goed voor gaan zitten en heb een voor velen interessante plugin gemaakt. Met de “My Twitpics” plugin kun je namelijk makkelijk en snel jouw actuele twitpic foto’s laten zien in de sidebar. De widget heeft een aantal optie’s die door de gebruiker ingegeven kunnen worden zoals titel en het aantal foto’s.
Feature’s:
- Simpel
- Aanpasbare titel
- Alleen twitter username benodigd
- Aantal foto’s instellen
- Link op foto’s aan/uit
Installatie:
- Installeer de plugin
- Voeg de widget toe aan de sidebar
- Stel de widget in

Ik heb de plugin ingedient bij WordPress, zodra hij daar goedgekeurd word zal hij officieel zijn. Waarschijnlijk zal er van deze pagina nog een Engelse vertaling komen.

Doesn’t work on my wordpress blog. :( no pictures displayed.
When I have some free time I am going to make a new version of the plugin because there are some little complications.

Is er ook de mogenlijkheid om de grote van de pictures te veranderen?
Dat kan eventueel in de broncode. Ik zal zodra ik weer eens wat tijd vrij heb een update maken voor de plugin waarin bepaalde bugs en extra features worden geboden.

The number of images in a column state depends on the width of the box where the images are in.
The number of pixels of the images can be adjusted in the script itself. Good luck.
My twitpic isn’t working since the update.

I added this plugin, set it up as instructed but when I check my blog it isn’t showing any of my pictures from my Twitpic account.

That’s realy strange, did you’ve recently deleted some photo’s?
I am going to take a look to fix this bug in the new version, but I think there’s something wrong with the database of twitpic :S.
any chance this would work with php5? i had it working on 4 but now it doesnt..

My wordpress runs on php 5 and the plugin is working. I’m working on a update.
It seems to be a problem with Twitpic, I’m going to release a update soon.
Was having a similar issues with images not being displayed after switching to a new host.
Check your php.ini and make sure that allow_url_fopen is set to “on”.
Any way to use multiple instances of the plugin at once? I want to display my latest twipic, and my wife’s latest twitpic at the same time.

I’m wanting to set up a separate blog for mobile phone pics, making posts that would each contain one picture each, and display the rss feed just like this does with twitpic, but cutting out twitpic altogether. Thanks!

I am trying to display my twitpics with your script only not in the sidebar. How can i adjust the nr of pictures, the size, margin, border and bordercolor in the page code?
Bedankt voor deze ideal plugin. Komt er ook de mogelijkheid om de tekst te zien die bij de twitpic is getikt? Ik zou dit graag zien als je met de muis op de foto staat. Nu staat er ‘link will open in a new window’.
Staat wel in de planning, de ontwikkeling ligt nu alleen tijdelijk stil.
I seem to have a problem with the widget not rendering the images in IE8…Works fine in every other browser…any ideas?
Ik heb zoals vele anderen ook het probleem dat de plaatjes niet te zien zijn. Ook via een andere widget krijg ik niks te zien. Kan het door Twitpic zelf komen misschien?
Dat zou kunnen, het is alleen erg vreemd dat het bij de een wel werkt en bij de ander niet. Maar goed, als er een update komt hoop ik het probleem op te lossen.

When I installed your widget I can’t seem to get more than one column as long as I have activated the photo-links to my twitpic stream.
How can I get more than one column and still link the photos to my twitpic-feed?

I think the ‘border’ around the linked photo’s are the problem.
You could simply fix that by changing the picture size (in the widget configuration). A couple of pixels should fix it.
Hi again… Now I changed my picture size från 80px to 50px and to show you the border I marked it out in orange…
The widget works great if I deactivate photo-links? Can’t figure out what the problem is…
Any other suggestions?

Hmm, then it has to be something in the css… I think that the css gives the link’s a special style.

Plugin doesn’t seem to work for me. The resulting img tag is empty, like this: . I guess this is a problem with grabbing the photo paths from twitpic in this line?

ah, my web host does not allow “file_get_contents”, so I’ll have to find another way.
